We are pleased to report business is thriving in spite of the lockdown!

We are pleased to report business is thriving in spite of the lockdown!

Whilst everything seems doom and gloom in the media at present we are glad that this is not the case here at Walker Beckett Mortgages. Things are going well and as Steve Beckett reports below, in some cases the buying and selling process is even being sped up!

“Whilst I’ve been in financial services for a fair bit, I’ve never seen things change so quickly in such a short amount of time. There’s also a lot of mis-information in the press at the moment and it’s not as bad as is being made out. For example, I’ve just had an application go from submission, to drive-by valuation to full mortgage offer in less than a week, so lenders are still working out there, even though some in the media are trying to say otherwise!!”

Business is thriving in the mortgage marketWe encourage our customers to still keep in touch and our goal is to try and find ways to make things work for you, despite the lockdown. Whilst of course we are acting responsibly to adhere to safe social distancing in all the ways that we can, we are pleased to confirm that we are open for business as usual.
